Los Merengues winger Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to the fanbase for his reaction when substituted in Sunday's heated Clasico clash triumph.
He was replaced in the second half and displayed his annoyance by heading directly to the dressing room.
The Brazilian later returned to the dugout and, after his side's narrow triumph, tried to confront Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury after the game incidents.
"This day I want to apologise to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the derby," Vinicius posted on X.
"Similarly to I have said in person during today's training, I would like to say sorry once more to my teammates, the team, and the president.
"At times fervor gets the better of me because I always want to triumph and help my side. My determined nature comes from the love I feel for this institution and each thing it represents."
The player joined Real from Brazil in the year 2018 for £38.7m and has notched over a century of strikes in 335 appearances.
But his prospects in the Spanish capital is uncertain with rumors in recent months stating that the club would think about letting the player move on if they obtained a appropriate bid.
When he was substituted on Sunday, cameras from network the service picked him up saying: "Always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I depart, I'm moving on."
In his most recent statement on X, Vinicius said: "I promise to keep fighting every second for the good of the club, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
